HOW TO…..
PEEL AND STICK
WALLPAPER
The peel and stick wallpaper is easy to glue, you can do it alone. An important rule is to start
removing the self-adhesive part from the very top. Remove about 5 centimeters
of these part and gently glue the top. Then slightly remove the film and
immediately glue the remaining wallpaper. To avoid waves or air ingress, use a
regular rubber or silicone scraper. Standard wallpaper is 50 centimeters width,
it is very convenient for gluing and does not require help from the outside.
1. Prepare the Surface:
Ensure that the surface where you'll be applying the wallpaper is clean,
smooth, and free from dust, grease, or debris. Use a mild detergent and water
to clean the surface thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before
proceeding.
2. Position the Wallpaper:
Carefully position the peel and stick wallpaper onto the surface,
starting from one corner and working your way across. Use a wallpaper smoother
or squeegee to remove any air bubbles and ensure a smooth, flat application.
3. Smooth and Trim:
Oncethe wallpaper is in place, use a wallpaper smoother or clean, dry cloth to
smooth out any wrinkles or bubbles. Trim off any excess wallpaper using a sharp
utility knife or scissors and ensure that the edges are neatly aligned with the
corners and edges of the wall.
By following these steps,
you can ensure that your self-adhesive wallpaper adheres securely to the
surface and provides a flawless finish that enhances the beauty of your space.

NON-WOVEN WALLPAPER
Gluing non-woven paper wallpapers requires a slightly different approach compared to traditional
paper wallpapers. Non-woven wallpapers are made from a blend of natural and
synthetic fibers, providing added durability and ease of installation. Here's a
step-by-step guide on how to glue non-woven paper wallpapers effectively:
1. Prepare the Surface:
Ensure that the surface where you'll be applying the wallpaper is clean,
smooth, and free from dust, grease, or debris. Use a mild detergent and water
to clean the surface thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before
proceeding.
2. Measure and Cut:
Measure the height of your wall and cut the wallpaper to the appropriate
length, leaving a few inches of excess at the top and bottom to accommodate any
adjustments. Use a sharp utility knife or scissors to cut the wallpaper cleanly
and accurately.
3. Mix the Adhesive:
Prepare the wallpaper adhesive according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Non-woven wallpapers typically require a paste-the-wall adhesive, which is
applied directly to the wall rather than to the back of the wallpaper.
4. Apply the Adhesive:
Using a paint roller or brush, apply a thin, even layer of wallpaper adhesive
to the wall where you'll be installing the wallpaper. Work in small sections to
ensure the adhesive doesn't dry out before you apply the wallpaper.
6. Hang the Wallpaper:
Carefully position the first strip of wallpaper onto the adhesive-coated wall,
starting from one corner and working your way across. Use a wallpaper smoother
or brush to smooth out any air bubbles and ensure a flat, even application.
7. Match the Pattern:
Ifyour wallpaper has a pattern that needs to be matched at the seams, take care
to align the pattern correctly as you hang each strip. Use a pencil or chalk to
mark the position of the next strip before applying the adhesive.
8. Overlap and Trim:
Allow each strip of wallpaper to overlap slightly at the edges to ensure a
seamless finish. Once all the strips are in place, use a sharp utility knife or
scissors to trim off any excess wallpaper at the top and bottom of the wall.
9. Smooth and Seal:
Once the wallpaper is in place, use a wallpaper smoother or clean, dry cloth to
smooth out any wrinkles or bubbles. Pay special attention to the edges and
seams to ensure they are tightly sealed.
10. Allow to Dry:
Allow the wallpaper adhesive to dry completely according to the manufacturer's
instructions before handling or applying any pressure to the wallpaper. This
typically takes several hours or overnight, depending on the type of adhesive
used and the environmental conditions.
11. Final Touches:
After the adhesive has dried, inspect the wallpaper for any loose edges or corners.
If necessary, use a small brush to apply additional adhesive to secure any
areas that may be lifting or peeling.
